Parochial Church Council (PCC)
This is the primary committee involved in the running of our Church and meets about five times a year on a Wednesday evening. It consists of the clergy team, churchwardens, readers and a number of elected members. It forms an official, elected body that shares responsibility for the Parish with the clergy team and provides an opportunity for parishioners to contribute to the running and direction of Hornsey Parish Church.
The PCC is not simply about money or building projects, but is about the church’s mission.
These are two parishioners elected at the APCM who work closely with the rector and have the authority of senior officers of the PCC.
Annual Meeting of Parishioners (APCM)
This meeting takes place annually towards the end of April. Reports about the church’s activities in the previous year are presented to the congregation, and elections for membership of the PCC are held at the Annual Meeting of Parishioners (APCM), among other things. To attend and vote at the APCM, you must be on our Electoral Roll.
